Scottish-born and raised, Taurus to the core, lover of all things soft, effortless and beautifully undone, and the hands (and heart) behind Baarc.
With over 20 years in the game and winning awards for editorial work. I’m also a mum of three, known at home as Mum, Mama, and occasionally Bro, depending on the mood, the day, and which kid you ask.
That mix of Scottish humour, warmth, and heart definitely shows up in how I do hair: grounded, honest, and always with a laugh. I’m obsessed with soft 70s hair, organic lived-in texture, cool-girl movement, and colour that feels subtle but elevated. I love creating hair that grows out beautifully, works with your real life, and still looks incredible weeks later.
My appointments are full of real conversation, an energy that feels calm but fun, effortless hair, without the ego.
